Thank you for taking an interest in booking an appointment at the Prea James flagship boutique. We can’t wait to welcome you! To facilitate your booking, see more details below on our appointment structure, available samples, and lead times.

 
  • Run for 90 minutes so that you can relax and take your time trying as may gowns as you wish. Your lovely stylist may also make some selections for you in this time. First Look Appointments are $45.00, which is redeemable on your purchase if you do find your gown with us!

  • Allocated 60 minutes, and are for brides who have already had an appointment within the last 3 months. During these appointment, we can re-visit your favourite gowns, take your measurements, hopefully make your gown official! These appointment are free of charge.

  • Run for 30 minutes, and are for brides who would like to try on veils, or styles such as our Chloe Wrap. Accessories Appointments are $15.00, which is redeemable on purchase. Gowns are not able to be tried on during this appointment.

  • Booked for 45 minutes and are exclusively for trying on gowns, accessories and bridal separates that are a part of our Sample Sale. Sample Sale Fitting Appointments are $25.00, which is redeemable on purchase. The $25.00 fee may also be used to redeem a PJB Garment Bag.

    • GOWN PRICING: The average spend for our brides ranges between $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 AUD If your budget is less than $4,000.00 and you are hoping to purchase a full length gown, we strongly recommend reaching out to our team via sydney@preajames.com.au to confirm the pricing of any styles that you are interested in before booking your appointment.

    • Our standard lead time is 5 months or 20 weeks more specifically. If your wedding is sooner than this, we are able to offer rush service. There are additional fees for this service, which vary depending on the time frame before your wedding, If you have less than 20 weeks, but more than 8 weeks lead time, the Standard Rush Fee is $300.00. If there is less than 8 weeks, the Urgent Rush Fee is $600.00.

    • Keep in mind, you do need to allow at least 4 weeks for alterations before your wedding, so if your wedding is 6 months or less away, you will need to pay a rush fee on your gown order.

    • If your wedding is less than three months away, please reach out to our team prior to booking your appointment so that we can confirm we can have a dress ready in time. Alternatively, please consider purchasing a style from our Sample Sale. Our Rush Service is subject to availability within our production schedule, and we are sometimes unable to accomodate rush orders due to being at full production capacity.

    • We only have 2 change rooms, so our brides will have nice intimate experience in store. As our space is on the smaller side, we ask that you limit your guests to a maximum of three people. Please reach out to our team via sydney@preajames.com.au if you are hoping to bring more than 3 guests.

    • While we are more than happy for you to bring along your little ones to your appointment, we do ask that you please be mindful of keeping them in prams, carriers, or held by a friend or family member in order to to avoid any disruptions to other brides in store, or accidental damage to the samples.

    • We have sample gowns in store for each style, however all of our gowns and separates are made to order to your nearest size. We have a mixture of sizes for the samples in store, mostly size 10 and 12, but we also have a couple of size 14’s - 18’s in certain styles. Don’t worry if we don’t have your exact size, our experienced stylists will help you to get a good visual of how the dresses will look on you. If there is a specific style that you have in mind, and you would like to know if we have it available in your size, please reach out to our team via sydney@preajames.com.au.

    • It is highly important that you are sure to note down all styles that you are hoping to try on when making your booking so that we can ensure they will be available for your appointment. We do often have gowns on loan for photoshoots and to our stockists, so we do not always have everything available in all sizes. To confirm the availability of a specific gown, please reach out to our team via sydney@preajames.com.au. Please note that if you do not notify us of your favourite styles, we cannot guarantee the availability.

    • If your wedding is more than one year away, we strongly suggest waiting to book your appointment until you are at least at the one year mark. As a guide, we recommend starting gown shopping about 10 months out from your wedding date.
