What is the price range of your gowns?
The prices of our made to order wedding dresses is between $2,475.00 - $7,500.00 with the majority of our dresses being around the AUD $5,000.00 mark.
what is the delivery time frame for made to order gowns?
All of the Prea James Bridal gowns are made at our Australian atelier, located in house at our Paddington Flagship. Each gown is made to order and requires a 20 week (around 5 months) minimum lead time. You will then need to factor in time for the gown to be delivered and time for alterations, so you should be ordering your gown 7 - 9 months before your wedding day.
We do offer a rush service on our gowns if the fabric is available and there is room in the production schedule to do so. The fees are as follows:
· Anything less then 20 weeks but more then 8 weeks will incur a rush fee of $300.00
· Anything less then 8 weeks will incur a rush fee of $600.00

Can changes be made to the made to order collections?
As all of the gowns are made to order in house, certain changes are possible!
Potential changes range from raising a neckline, to adding (or taking away) sleeves, changing the fabric of a dress to mixing the skirt of one dress with the bodice of another. If you would like to discuss any possibly changes, you can speak to your stylist in our Paddington Flagship, or to the staff at your nearest stockist to talk over any possible pattern or design changes. Any changes do come at an additional charge to the gown.

Our general size range is AUS 6-18 but we also offer custom sizing for all gowns. Our stockists carry a variety of sample sizes, some have size 10 samples in store. some have size 12 and others (including our Paddington PJB Flagship) have some size 14-18 samples in store for brides to try. If the sample size is quite different to the size you would be, the stylist have ways to help you imagine what it would look like in your size.
As all of our Prea James Bridal gowns are made to order, which is not the same as made to measure. Made to order means that we don’t carry standard size stock of the gowns, we have sample gowns in stores and each order that comes through to our Atelier is individually cut and sewn.
The stylist you see in store will take your measurements to find your nearest size. This helps to reduce the amount of alterations that may be needed but it does not eliminate the need for alterations.
We also offer split sizing, so if your bust falls closest to a 10, your waist an 11, and your hip a 13 you can order the gown in that split size.
Measurements are only taken to find your nearest size - we do not create made to measure gowns. As every body is unique, you will still likely need alterations to get the perfect fit.
